Consulting Services
Espotel Oy was founded in 1986 and is located in Espoo and Kuopio,
Finland. We specialize in providing electronics and embedded SW
design services to our customers from the first concept to the
development of the finished product. Good project planning as well
as instructions for the development work assure that our development
projects lead to succesfull results. Espotel has been awarded an
ISO9001 Quality Control Certificate.

Processor Expertise
Wide range of 4-32 bit processors and DSPs, like : Intel, Motorola,
Hitachi, Echelon, Texas, NEC, Mitsubishi, Microchip, Analog Devices.
Expertise & Skills
Electronics and FPGA design
PCB schematic capture and Layout design, FPGA design forAltera and Xiling.
Embedded SW
C and Assembler using a variety of processor specific tools from IAR, Hiware,
processor vendors etc.
PC SW
Production test and other tools are programmed with Visual Basic, Visual C++,
LabView, C and ASM.
Mechanical design
Thin plate and plastic molding techniques for case mechanics and production testers.
AutoCAD (2D) and ProEngineering (3D) are used.
Prototypes and type testing
We purchase components and manufacture prototypes. All the products are type
tested and EMC tested. We arrange approval by the appropriate agency or authority
(eg UL or CSA) when needed.
Starting production
We document the product so that customer or his subcontractor can start production
either in Finland or abroad. If needed, we supply finished and tested products
to the customer.
