I am attempting to use uC OS II (latest version, ver 1.44) together with Xilinx SDK version 2019.1 on an Ultrascale+ device (on the RPU).
Unfortunately, the BSP and the “Micrium uC/OS-II Hello World” example project does not compile successfully with this Xilinx version. According to the release notes for uC OS, only Xilinx SDK 2018.3 is supported so this might not be a surprise. Are there any workarounds possible to use these versions together, or are there any planned releases in the near future of uC OS II that will support Xilinx SDK 2019.1?

    Hello Morgan,

Unfortunately, there is no simple fix for this.
We are currently developing the next release of the repository; it will work with XSDK 2019.

Will the next release work with Xilinx Vitis 2019.2?

It is such a pain to set up working environment!
From one hand, we need to follow Xilinx SDK updates, from other side we need to wait for ucos releases…

    Hello Bojan,

We apologize for the delays. Unfortunately, we have no way to synchronize our repository’s development with Xilinx’s IDE releases. Additionally, we have to coordinate the ucos repository releases with our other product releases so that it works with the latest uC/ product releases.

We incurred some delays in Q4 because we had a slew of new product releases, but we still have V1.45 of the ucos repo in the works.

    Regards,
    Sharbel
